A NOTE ABOUT VISITING: Prospective visitors should be aware that some gardens, even in general hospitals, are not open to the public. It is always a good idea to contact the health care facility first to make sure that a spontaneous visit will not be disruptive to patients and staff. You may need to schedule a visit. In general, facilities that care for people with less control over their environment are more restrictive (e.g. Alzheimer's and other long term care, children's, and psychiatric).

The hospital also has a perimeter trail loop, regional trail connectivity, public picnic shelter on trail, recreation integrated wetland storm water management / detention basin."

Chagpori Hill is an Asian garden honouring Buddhist healing traditions; Labyrinth; Medicine Wheel; Taiga Woodland Garden; HildegardÕs Herb Garden is named after Hildegard von Bingen, a medieval herbalist, mystic, composer and abbess; the Great Mother reveals the secrets of this sacred land Ð a snake petroform located beside a seasonal snake den, and two Mother Earth figures in the pre-cambrian rock.
Open to the public, by donation. Allow at least 1 hour. Due to uneven terrain, this garden is not wheelchair accessible at this time."
