Yesterday was the last day of the Chicago Botanic Garden Healthcare and Therapeutic Design Certificate Program, which I feel so honored to now be on the “faculty” of. What a great group of students and instructors! I was extremely impressed with the students’ final projects, a courtyard design for a continuing care retirement community in Chicago. We now have 21 more people in this field who will bring quality, evidence-based healthcare design to the people who need it – patients, clients, visitors, and staff. If that doesn’t give us hope, I don’t know what will!
Here’s a shot of tulips, taken a couple of days ago at the Garden.
